Liberal Citizens Alliance

This is a story of young and old Zambians wishing to see better for their country and brought together by a movement called The Liberal Citizens Alliance, through which their combined efforts will yield results to guide us into a brighter future.

The Philisophy behind Liberal Citizens Alliance is for everyone involved to assume responsibility for the future of our country. We refuse to let our country’s future, be the victim of a history riddled with
economic sabotage through the foreign scramble of our natural resources, misallocation of tax-payers’ money and corruption. Rather we choose to be the makers of a brighter future by altering the current political and economic structures, through the use of power of the movement. Notice that we use the term “we” deliberately, as this will be a joint effort of the people, you as an individual included.

It has been over four decades since our country attained its independence. The joy and future hopes which came with it have slowly diminished over the years, and Zambians have once again been marginalised to the position occupied before independence. Proper health care is more of a privilege rather than a right. Governance is limited to privileged elite. Our economy is dominated by foreign forces that are given preference over capable Zambians.

We refuse to wait for grand happenings to initiate a change; rather we are getting the ball rolling this very moment. We appeal to you to get involved today by joining hands with The Liberal Citizen Alliance and reclaim your rightful place as a Zambian citizen.

If nothing else, the kind of political parties in Zambia are not resonating with the Zambian people. The real test of political parties in Zambia is not the personalities governing the party, but the values that the political
parties believe in and stand for.

The good news is that out of the ordinary Zambians, The Liberal Citizens Alliance, whose ideology is "Putting People  First", is born. Zambians are looking for something new. They are hungry for a different kind of politics, and The Liberal Citizens Alliance is here to provide the necessary guidance and force to see that change.

As Citizens, we deserve a leadership that's commensurate to the challenges we face in our country, and we look forward to working with you to make this happen in the days, months and years to come.
